The Church of the Most Precious Blood

  • The point about the circular cutout framing the church’s Rose Window is the most useful part of the piece, since it treats the facade as a response to a sightline rather than just a shape. A practical step when studying this kind of project is to check the section drawings or a street-level photo from across the road to see how much of the window stays visible at different viewing angles, not only head-on. That would show whether the framing works in real use.

  • The detail about the circular cutout framing the church’s rose window is the strongest part, since it explains why the facade is shaped that way rather than just describing it as sculpted. One practical addition would be a simple diagram or annotated elevation showing the sightline from the street, marking where the rose window sits relative to the opening. That would let readers check the alignment themselves instead of taking the visual claim on trust.
